MOBILE BIKE REPAIR SERVICES BY APPOINTMENT DENVER COLORADO

MobileBikeMan.com got its start when Jose, a master auto mechanic and total loss rebuilder, decided to make a change and traded the world of cars for the world of bicycles. He found a mentor in "BikeMan" Don O'Connor, the owner of Any and All Bikes and pioneer of mobile bike services in Colorado since 1988.  

 

In 2012 Jose launched BikesBones.com, a recycled bicycle parts warehouse and custom shop, and continued to develop his mobile bicycle service business. After servicing the Denver Metro and surrounding areas in Astro vans for a few years, Jose had an idea to combine mobile bike service with a coffee shop and came across a food-truck style step van. It was a little rough around the edges, with old yellow peeling paint. With his auto restoration chops, help from friends,  and a "Sure, we love bicycles" response from Pablo's Coffee shop, the BIKECAFE was born. 

 

In July of 2015 the MobileBikeMan.com BikeCafe was approved by the State of Colorado and City of Denver as a legitimate mobile bicycle and coffee shop. Since then, the BikeCafe has been a part of major cycling events throughout Colorado.  Mobilebikeman.com is a passionate supporter of local non-profit bicycle businesses and provided bike escort for Denver Mayor Michael Hancock on National Bike to Work Day. 

 

Jose never anticipated the enthusiasm with which the Colorado cycling community has responded, and is happy to be serving the community with his mechanical and recycling skills.

 

Update - 2023

In these post-covid times due to the shortage of skilled labor, our services are only available on our designated routes areas. Warehouse parts inventories are back to normal. In order to deliver the highest quality of service, and to serve you most quickly and efficiently, we've made the decision not to offer corporate or events services at this time.

 

Update - 2020

As we all know, the COVID19 pandemic hit everything hard. At the same time the cycling industry experienced an unprecedented boom. Everyone pulled their old bikes out of the garage and bought new bikes. Due to this, we could only be at so many places and service so many bikes. We sincerely apologize to anyone that we could not get to this year.

 

Update – 2019

Fast forward to 2019 – Mobilebikeman has been on the road for 4 years and we’ve learned a lot along the way. In 2018, due to small profit margins and internet shopping, we made the decision to service and repair bicycles only. We now have more time, energy, and resources to focus on serving you and our loved cycling community.
